Worship at the Napa Community Seventh-day Adventist Church is the high point of the week. You will find three things that stand out immediately. They are: variety, joy, and purpose.
We are a diverse congregation, and while we can't meet everyone's needs all the time, we do try to reach God through all of the senses. On Sabbath you will sometimes find our wonderful pipe organ being featured and often we also use our orchestra and/or brass ensemble. We have a lot of musical talent in our church family and we are always ready for more.
Joy is the foundation of our worship time. This is an opportunity for all of us to come together as a family, with all of our different gifts, needs, and tastes, and worship the God who created all things. We believe in the assurance of our salvation through Jesus Christ and therefore, how could we be anything but joyful? Our music and giving is from the heart and our message is from the Word.
Our purpose is to lift up the name of Jesus. He is the object of our praise and He is the audience. We are the active participants. At Napa Community, worship is a verb!
We offer an abundance of worship experiences for all ages. We have classes beginning at 10:00 a.m. for Tiny Tots, Kindergarten, Primary, Junior, Junior High, High School, and a variety of Adult Connections Groups.
Under the direction of our youth and young adult leaders, the young people are kept especially active. There are frequent opportunities to just hang out, relax, and enjoy good food and fellowship. There are also many chances to serve, both in the local community and in a variety of mission trips.
