I'm Sherilyn O'Ffill. We arrived in Napa in May 2003. My specific focus is young people and those who work with them (including parents). I most enjoy helping young people to see a clearer picture of God and helping other adults to show that picture most effectively. In the past several years I have found incredible joy in challenging high school students to be leaders and finding opportunities for them to pactice being leaders.
We moved here to Napa from sunny Orlando, Florida where my husband, Mark, was an associate pastor at Orlando Central and I worked at a YMCA youth camp doing team-building facilitation and clerical work. Our family is spread across every time zone in the United States, but we have found some incredible friends here in Napa that are almost the same as having family near by.
Mark is now part of the faculty at Hilltop Christian School, the junior academy in Antioch, CA where he teaches Bible, History, English and PE for grades 7 - 10. Napa is an amazing place to call home.
Mark and I have been married for just over ten years. We met in Greek class at Southern Adventist University. We enjoy traveling, camping & backpacking, singing, and being with people. Some of my other hobbies include: reading, riding horses, and swimming.
We began the adventure of parenting in June 2006 when Alec joined our family.
